About Harvey Brothers

In 1958 Harley W. Harvey Sr. purchased an old dump truck from a meat company, named it “Stinky” and began hauling sand as Harvey Brothers Trucking. In June 1967 Harley began demolishing houses and changed the name to Harvey Brothers Trucking & Wrecking. He retired in 2002 but remained President until October 15, 2003, when he was “fired” by Lynn. He worked on his farm in Appleton City and made his way around town harassing all the locals. He still demolished structures from time to time using machinery that should have been retired to pasture. Harley passed away on January 9, 2014.

In August 1984, the company was incorporated in the State of Kansas, changing the name to Harvey Brothers Trucking & Wrecking Co., Inc.

The employees of Harvey Brothers have many years of experience in the demolition trade. We demolish residential structures, commercial structures, partial demolition of structures, interior demolition, and remove underground storage tanks.

Harvey Brothers is licensed and bonded. All work is done in conformity to all Federal State, and Local rules and regulations. We are a member of the Operating Engineers Local 101 union. Harvey Brothers now employs 8 people, but will hire additional help if needed.
